Tianjin's first all-in-one cross-border service portal for expanding enterprises was launched at the city's Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) on Wednesday.

Zhang Xue, chairperson of TEDA One-Stop Global Service Center, said the digital platform offers 104 standardized services covering sectors such as market entry and overseas operation, backed by 24 service hubs worldwide.

Foreign investors also stand to benefit from the digital hub, with Aldonov Frankeko Alvarez from El Salvador, manager of Tianjin Haisahui International Trade Co, saying he had registered his firm with TEDA.

"The digital portal quickly connected me with multiple Chinese partners, making negotiations far smoother than expected," Frankeko Alvarez said.

Domestic marine tech firms have also praised the efficiency of the portal, with Wu Jianguo, manager of Tianjin Hanhai Lanfan Marine Technology Co, saying it navigates overseas market access rules and enables one-stop project matching, cutting workload for standalone firms.

Fang Yong, division director of Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said the digital tool empowers SMEs to tap into global markets with confidence.

"We will further improve the city's overseas service ecosystem via this portal, boosting coordinated development across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and deepening cooperation under the Shanghai Cooperation Organization framework to help more Chinese enterprises expand globally," Fang said.
