The Beijiang Port Area's Berth C stands out as the world's first fully intelligent and carbon-neutral container terminal. Breaking from fossil fuels and labor-intensive operations, the terminal runs entirely on electricity generated by an on-site wind-solar-storage-energy system, achieving what the port claims is a 100 percent self-sufficient clean power supply and the industry's first carbon neutrality certification worldwide.
