In Tianjin's Dongli district, smart factories are transforming abstract concepts into tangible realities, highlighting the development of new quality productive forces.

At the sheet metal workshop of Tianjin Zhongdian Huali Electric Technology Group, the absence of noise and bustling workers is striking. Instead, robotic arms precisely handle materials, while automated guided vehicle carts deliver supplies, all orchestrated by AI.

This smart factory only requires two workers for inspections and adjustments, compared to the traditional 40-worker, three-shift system, said Zhu Shaofei, Huali Group's deputy general manager. He added that the line can run for nine days straight, boosting efficiency and quality while freeing workers from repetitive tasks.

Tianjin Pinggao Intelligent Electric tackles the "soft connections" between production elements. Its digital twin system maps every aspect of production in real-time, optimizing layout and reducing the costs of trial and error.

The "smart brain" has enabled Pinggao Electric to shorten the order delivery cycle by 23 percent, increase the inventory turnover rate by 150 percent, and enhance overall equipment efficiency by 18 percent.

Meanwhile, Tianjin Zhixin Electric focuses on reducing carbon emissions across the supply chain. Its interconnected systems ensure real-time energy monitoring and data synchronization with suppliers, making sustainability a collaborative effort.

These three companies illustrate Dongli district's comprehensive and evolving smart manufacturing landscape, where new quality productive forces emerge from every algorithm and energy-saving initiative.
