The inaugural job and internship fair for international students was held at Tianjin University on May 17 as part of the city's efforts to connect international talent with leading Chinese employers.

The event attracted 34 major companies from diverse industries, including Chinese tech powerhouse Huawei, beverage giant Mixue Bingcheng, and Cainiao, Alibaba's flagship logistics service provider.
Also in attendance were Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group, an investment and financing management company focusing on capital operation and asset management, and Shanghai United Imaging Healthcare Co, a provider of advanced medical imaging, radiotherapy equipment and life science instruments.
These enterprises offered a wide range of high-paying full-time jobs and internship opportunities tailored for international students studying in Tianjin's universities. Available positions spanned fields such as international business marketing, equipment procurement, information technology, product management, project management, electrical and mechanical engineering, finance, and translation.
The event underscored Tianjin's commitment to fostering a more inclusive and internationally connected workforce while supporting the career development of international students in the city.
