In 2024, Tianjin's Dongli district will strive to continuously promote the implementation of Tianjin's "Ten Actions" and inject new economic vitality into high-quality development. Efforts are expected to be made in three aspects.

Further integration into the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will support regional development. Dongli district will continue to undertake the mission of relieving non-capital functions from Beijing and comprehensively deepen its strategic cooperation with Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, so as to promote innovative collaboration and nurture more start-up enterprises in the region. Moreover, it will also continue to strengthen collaboration with Binhai New Area in investment promotion and research and development to achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefits.

In addition, Dongli will further promote technological innovation and industrial rejuvenation in 2024. Dongli will empower industrial rejuvenation through technological innovation, strengthen the deep integration of industry, academia, and research led by enterprises, and convert more laboratory achievements into marketable products and commodities. At the same time, it will promote industrial rejuvenation by enhancing the local manufacturing industry, focusing on Dongli’s key industrial chains including next-generation automobiles and aerospace, and building a number of green and intelligent factories.

In 2024, Dongli will also focus on promoting consumption and expand investment. A series of commercial activities are expected to be launched to vigorously develop cultural and tourism consumption and consolidate the integrated development of agriculture, commerce, culture, tourism and sports around Dongli Lake. Meanwhile, increasing efforts will be put into attracting investment and providing support to enterprises researching new products and implementing new projects.
