Tianjin's Hexi district launched an industrial coordination event with three districts and counties in Gansu province on Nov 12 as part of efforts between China’s eastern areas and inner rural parts to push for rural vitalization.

The event aims to boost sales and added value of agricultural products from these places.

It was co-held by the governments of Tianjin, Pingliang’s Kongtong district, Zhuanglang county, Zhuoni county, Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Jingdong, and Tianjin Food Group. Four venues connected with each other via a live broadcast to mark the start of this collaboration.

To achieve this goal, Hexi district is working with Jingdong, Tianjin Food Group and Tianjin Haihe Media to build a rural brand - Jinxiaogan, which will include dozens of high-quality agricultural products in Gansu. The initiative is expected to help expand sales channels, and contribute to the high-quality development of the industrial chain.

The initiative will also be presented in the form of a variety show that caters to the interests of the public.Hexi district has continued to help Gansu consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively drive rural revitalization. In the future, Hexi will join hands with its partners to shape rural brands and industrial development.
