The first self-built security computer, developed by China Great Wall Technology Group, came off the production line at the company's Tianjin base on June 24.

The group agreed to set up a base in the port city's Binhai New Area last month. With the support of local government, it's taken the group just 20 days to build the base and start producing computers; a record for the company.

The base is expected to produce 300,000 autonomous security computers, with an estimated annual output value of 1.8 billion yuan ($257.04 million).

The products will play an important role in building a localized independent secure data center in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
