No additional cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Tianjin between 6am and 6pm on February 23, and 16 patients were discharged from hospital after recovery, according to the Tianjin Center for Disease Control and Prevention. 　

Tianjin has confirmed a total of 135 cases so far, of which 72 are males and 63 females, with two in critical condition, 15 in severe condition, 32 in common condition and two in mild condition. 81 patients have been discharged from hospital after recovery and three have died. 109 people are suspected of being infected with the virus. A total of 2,156 close contacts have been traced, and among them, 693 are still under observation.
