Nankai High School in Tianjin has welcomed 35 secondary school principals visiting from Malaysia.
Liu Hao, president of Tianjin Nankai High School, told the guests the school philosophy and described the characteristics of the international department.
Zhang Qingmin, director of the international department, then introduced the basics of the department's curriculum, faculty, student level, and graduation destinations.
The school also invited Xu Jinghan, a Malaysian graduate of the international department of the school who is now studying at Tsinghua University, to share her experience of learning at the school.
She mentioned that Nankai High School provided her not only with an excellent faculty team, learning partners, and teaching environment, but also provided a platform for her comprehensive development, which is crucial to the development of her life at university and beyond.

After the meeting, guests made a tour of the historical sites of the school including the history museum, Zhou Enlai memorial hall, Zhang Boling's reading room, Yan Xiu Memorial Room, Mei Yiqi Memorial Room, and the International Ministry Teaching Building.
Malaysia is the only overseas country with a complete Chinese language education system in primary schools, secondary schools, and vocational schools.
With the further development of China-Malaysia relations, Chinese education in Malaysia has a promising future.

The guests stated that they would explore cooperation opportunities with the school and work together to form a joint force to develop Chinese language education in Malaysia further.
