Five professional clusters have been built up, namely AI digital intelligent software, 5G communication networks, intelligent manufacturing, digital design, and modern intelligent management services. 

The college's proportion of "double-qualified" teachers is 85 percent,, its ratio of full-time teachers with senior professional titles is 45.6 percent, and the proportion of teachers with master's degrees and above is 64.3%. Faculty includes one national excellent teaching team, two municipal excellent teaching teams, and two Tianjin municipal famous teachers.

The college has participated in and completed two projects of national first-class awards and one second-class award for teaching achievements, and has also hosted and completed one special award and two first-class awards for teaching achievements at the municipal level.
