Ninghe strives to achieve high quality development

From ancient times, Tianjin's Ninghe district has been the gateway to Beijing and Tianjin. It has a land area of 1,291 square kilometers and a population of 420,000.

The district boasts of stunning natural scenery. Qilihai wetland natural reserve, an important part of the Natural Reserves of Tianjin Ancient Coasts and Wetlands, with wide water area, luxuriant vegetation and fresh air, is not only the habitant of various wildlife, but also plays an role in resisting drought and improving the ecological environment of Tianjin and its surrounding areas as well.

Strong momentum for development: Ninghe has actively undertaken the non-capital functions of Beijing; Ninghe Modern Agricultural Industrial Park is the only national agricultural demonstration park in Tianjin.

The area's Tianjin Future Science and Technology City is one of the four future science and technology cities in the country and has become an important engine for the high-quality development of Ninghe.

Many strategies and plans to protect ecology: Ninghe has issued more than 70 eco-friendly systems and implemented an ecological protection responsibility system.

In the past two years, it planted 85,000 mu of forests, becoming one of the most "green" areas in Tianjin.

Accelerated development of intelligence industry. Based on the national strategy to promote the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Ninghe is building an artificial intelligence industrial base of the future science and a technology city -- accelerating the intellectualization of traditional industries and actively introducing industrial projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, high-end manufacturing, new energy and new materials and biomedicines.

Actively developing agricultural tourism industry. Ninghe has developed modern urban agriculture. It has promoted the deep integration of the primary industry, secondary industry and tertiary industry. It has constructed 33 beautiful villages around the Qilihai and strived to create a wetland. Based on the ecological belts of the Qilihai Wetland and the Jiyun River, a number of towns, rural complexes and medium and high-end guesthouses have been constructed and a number of special tourism projects have been established.
