Wudadao in Heping district

Here's where the preserved western style buildings present a colorful light show at night as people enjoy bars, foods of different countries and float parades.

People are also treated to various cultural performances such as sand painting which illustrate the dramatic history of Wudadao in a vivid way and within a short time.

According to Guo Yunying, head of night economics of the Wudao Administrative Committee, starting from May 24th, the 3rd Folk Square "City Memory" concert will be held in Minyuan Stadium on Friday and Saturday nights to provide an elegant cultural tourism experience.

New Canal experience in Hongqiao district

In addition to immersive colorful lights, music fountains and delicious food, eight eye-catching 12-meter-high giant colorful hot air balloons are lined up in the 6000 square meter Hongqiao night market.

Visitors are keen to try online sensations such as the Time Tunnel and Off Your Mind Wall. The New Canal attracts nearly 30,000 people every night! 

Aegean Sea folk art night market in Hedong district

The long-expected market will be unmasked in July.

The scheduled 200-meter-long market set in a scene of Hutongs will present the city's Intangible Cultural Heritage projects and folk arts.
