The 75-year-old Dexin Chenglinji, the predecessor of the New China Laundry in Tianjin was founded in Sept 1943 by Sun Fanglin. From then on, it was renowned for its complete set of equipment and efficient skill, superior quality, and excellent service.

Despite the fact that the old Daxin Chenglinji store was demolished due to the municipal reconstruction and renovation, it was still retained as the historical site at the original place.

The original business model of the old store was on-site service, walking through the streets and collecting clothes. Even though dyeing equipment included a simple pot, bucket, ironing and dyeing tank, it left a lot of valuable experience for the new Chinese laundry.

At the beginning of the founding of China, the main laundry business mainly included dying cloth. Daxin Chenglinji adhered to the business philosophy of "integrity service, customer first", and managed several businesses such as laundry, dyeing cloth, darning and catering to other needs, which helped it won customer's trust.

In 1956, Daxin Chenglinji merged with other smaller laundry stores and was remnamed New China Laundry, which was officially incorporated into the national enterprise.

The scale of the store has grown steadily, and the operation and service projects have been significantly improved from the past.

As early as 1958, the laundry began to deploy homemade washing machines, dryers, and small equipment with baking functions which was advanced at the time.

In 1984, the laundry introduced the first German dry cleaning machine in Tianjin, separating the dry cleaning and washing and using electric iron instead of iron ones, which completely innovated the traditional laundry mode. This marked a rather essential development in laundry equipment.

In the 1990s, despite the expansion of laundry and laundry services being added to some high-end hotels, it was still difficult to meet the growing laundry needs of consumers.

Since the late 1990s, the industry has seen a rapid expansion and prosperity with some large-scale dyeing and dyeing chain stores rapidly emerging.

In recent years, the government has paid more and more attention to the service industry, and the investment in the service industry has also increased year by year. The old brand of Tianjin New China Laundry Co., Ltd. was innovated under the leadership and has made a lot of explorations in corporate innovation in recent years.

After the restructuring, after the private entry, the property rights were clearly defined, which provided a strong guarantee for the company's management.

Nowadays, the laundry in Tianjin has more than a dozen chain stores, one of the five special stores in the city. It also won the tag of being an Advanced Enterprise issued by the government of Hebei District, Tianjin.

Its success is closely connected with its emphasis on customer service, advanced equipment and its support for Green laundry. It also provides clothing repair service by professional tailor and darning technician.
