During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, Tianjin's Dongli district rolled out 55 cultural tourism activities across five categories: trendy performances, countryside leisure, cultural venues, sports, and shopping.

Visits to scenic areas and attractions rose 3.25 percent year-on-year, while tourism revenue increased 1.29 percent.

Donghu Lake Scenic Area hosted a theater festival by the lake, featuring fish lantern parades, lion dance performances, and an intangible cultural heritage market.

Xinli Countryside Park offered mooncake-making, boating, lawn camping, and stargazing activities during Mid-Autumn Festival and red story classes and lawn singing for National Day.

Communities across the district organized heritage-themed fun sports meetings, including pitch-pot, cuju (ancient soccer game), and archery, as well as lantern riddles, reading events, and open-air movies.

Dongli Sports Center hosted a badminton team invitational, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and combat events, while Dongli Wanda Plaza and Xinye Plaza offered performances and pet markets, boosting nighttime spending.
