A light‑hearted incident on the streets of Tianjin recently caught public attention, after a horse drawing a tourist carriage bit into and started eating a broom hanging off a sanitation worker's vehicle.

The horse works for the sightseeing carriage program at Tianjin's Five Great Avenues area. Home to well‑preserved British, French, Italian, and German‑style buildings dating back to the 1920s and 1930s, the area is sometimes referred to as a "World Architectural Museum". Horse‑drawn carriage tours have become a signature way for visitors to experience the historic blocks.

In recent years, the area has shifted from a simple sightseeing spot to an urban leisure destination. The carriages, modeled after Queen of England's royal carriage, feature a classic European styling that fits well with the neighborhood's old‑world streetscape.
