China Automobile (Tianjin) Automotive Equipment, a company based in Jinghai district, Tianjin, has become a key supplier of high-end manufacturing equipment for global automotive giants including Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW.
With 17 years of industry experience, the firm holds five invention patents and 45 utility model patents, supplying equipment for its global factories.
At its manufacturing base in the Ziya Economic and Technological Development Zone High-tech Industrial Park, precision machinery is busy at work.
In 2025, the company undertook 51 new projects, with its shipment value rising 26.6 percent year-on-year. Both its contract volume and revenue are approaching record highs.
The company has invested over 10 million yuan ($1.44 million) in 2025 to introduce advanced, flexible, high-precision equipment. It has built a product portfolio covering over 90 categories, including body-in-white fixtures and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), with many technologies receiving international certifications and precision up to 0.1 millimeter.
Recent innovations include a reconfigurable flexible production line for car bodies and heavy-load AGVs, marking its entry into heavy intelligent logistics.
Since launching operations in 2009, the company has focused on innovation and professional growth. It expanded overseas in 2017 and has received a number of international certifications. Its annual output has surged from 20 million yuan to over 400 million yuan, establishing it as a major player in automotive engineering and the manufacturing of welding equipment.
Looking ahead, the company plans to bolster supply chain resilience, increase R&D in new energy equipment, and enhance production capacity and management.
