A total of 60,000 doses of Xuebijing injections have been dispatched from Tianjin to Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, Xingtai, Cangzhou and other places in Hebei province to combat the ongoing epidemic.

The company overcame difficulties in emergent inventory deployment and meeting the strict conditions for transporting the injections (they need to be stored at a designated temperature and transported by drivers who have to take nucleic acid tests before departure), and successfully delivered them in two days. The company is now preparing to produce more.

Three traditional Chinese medicines - Jinhua Qinggan granules, Lianhua Qingwen medicine and Xuebijing injections - have been proved effective by clinical data to show great performance in treating COVID-19 patients. They have played a significant role in the fight against the novel coronavirus and have been adopted in COVID-19 treatment plans around the world.

Yao Xiaoqing, president of Tianjin Chase Sun Pharmaceutical Co, said: "It has undergone 10 years of difficult component-based studies in line with rigorous Western medicine research standards, and convinced Western counterparts by its effects and results".
