Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Company appoints new deputy CEO

Tan Jun Han has been appointed as Deputy CEO of SSTEC, in charge of Strategic Planning & Business Development, effective from December 4.

Tan has more than 15 years' experience in strategic planning, policy planning, urban and land use planning, as well as project management.

Prior to his appointment as DCEO, Tan was concurrently heading up the Planning and Design Management Department and the CEO Office from January 2020 and January 2019 respectively, as well as having previously led the Project Management Department and the Strategic Planning Department since joining SSTEC in 2017.

Before joining SSTEC, Tan had also held leadership appointments with the Ministry of National Development in its Strategic Planning Division, which focuses on strategic planning and implementation work, as well as with the Urban Redevelopment Authority in its Planning Policies Department, which focuses on strategic land use plans and policies that guide Singapore’s physical development and land use strategies.

Tan holds a Master of Social Science in International Studies from the National University of Singapore and a double degree in Science (Planning & Development) and Arts from the University of Southern California.

CEO of SSTEC Tay Lim Heng said: "We congratulate Mr Tan Jun Han on his promotion to DCEO. With his invaluable experiences in strategic planning and urban planning in the public sector, Tan has been playing a key role in formulating and implementing long-term corporate development plans and business strategies, as well as the Eco-City’s development plans. We look forward to his continued contribution to SSTEC in his new capacity."
