With an aim of "promoting culture and tourism integration and pooling together industrial-development achievements", the 2019 China Tourism Industry Expo, which opened on Sept 6 in Tianjin, has drawn a record 28 provinces and cities with over 100,000 travel items on display.

"I came to experience the skating rink, which has blown my mind. It is an excellent skating rink on flat ground, higher quality than I expected!" said Sun Zuoyue, a skating hobbyist who visited the Expo.

"I am 69 years old. I started to skate at the age of seven and am very happy to see the skating rink constantly become more advanced. I hope more communities and parks will be able to introduce skating facilities in the future," Sun added.

Dozens of enterprises of outdoor wear, products, scenic equipment and other products are on display at the expo, offering chances to experience outdoor life.

According to official data, low-altitude flight products are being exhibited for the first time in Tianjin. The Yihang 216 autonomous aerial vehicle developed by Kunxiang Intelligent Technology is a hot and eye-catching exhibition highlight.

"This product is positioned at low altitude and short distance, below 3000 meters within a straight line distance of 30 kilometers. It is electrically powered and is environmentally friendly, especially suitable for natural areas that do not allow fueled aircraft. It is artificially intelligent and unmanned, cutting down costs and adding security as it provides multiple backups of the security system," said Zhang Deyong, marketing manager at the company.

Tourist vehicles are another flagship product of this year's travel fair. Leading brands such as Yutong, Brilliance, Datong and Zhongtian are looking for market share with the launch of the towed RV, welcomed by many outdoor tourism spots.
