A 2018 second quarter collective signing ceremony was held in Tanggu Ocean High-tech Zone, Tianjin, on July 10.

Seventeen projects covering a wide range of fields from a high-tech R&D center, intelligent manufacturing, clean energy and environmental protection to automobile manufacturing and the modern service industry were launched, with a total investment of 7 billion yuan.  

The projects, including a Wanda Plaza, the Tianjin Branch of the Microelectronics Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Binhai Zhongchu Logistics, and Xintian Technology will find their new home in the zone.

One of them, the Tianjin Branch of the Microelectronics Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, plans to build a microwave and millimeter wave chip R&D center for the communication and radar industries.
